We’re Smarter

I was going through old journals over the weekend, attempting to declutter my office, and came upon this gem from a conference I attended in 2018.

Will Brown, who used to be at US Travel, told those in the audience..."know that you are smarter on this topic than they are."

And how amazingly true is that for those of us in Destination Marketing and Leadership? 

So many of us look at those in elected positions as being somehow smarter than we are...but they're really not, at least not about tourism.

We are the experts. Never forget that when in their presence.
