It's taken me a day or two to process the past week at the record-breaking Annual Convention of Destinations International in Chicago. And, my primary takeaway...the DestinationNext Future Study is finally a future study.
After several previous iterations that, at least for me, confirmed that water is wet...this one breaks serious ground.
42% of Destination Marketing Organizations believe their funding streams are at risk (I'd say the other 58% are in denial).
