Though the spot launched in May, it started gaining traction last week while over 2000 of we Destination Marketers were in Chicago at our annual convention. So, for those of us who were otherwise consumed in networking and learning (and those not in our space), I share this compelling video.

A lot has been made of the precipitous decline in Canadian visits to the United States since the President suggested that Canada be our 51st State. But, Americans have been, correspondingly, increasingly reticent to visit Canada, fearing a less than hospitable welcome because of the Administration's incendiary remarks.

This video from Quebec’s Eastern Townships (with over 2 million views) is absolutely masterful.

We have to continually remind ourselves, it's just one man with an oversized megaphone.
