For years, Frozen Dead Guy Days was a staple in Nederland CO (population 1500) before it became too big and Kara Franker acquired it for Estes Park.

Phillipi is a town of 3,000 souls, nestled along West Virginia's Tygert River Valley. It is the site of the first land battle of the Civil War...but nobody cares about that anymore.

It is also the birthplace of Ted Cassidy, the actor who immortalized Lurch in The Addams Family. Now that has legs.

Thousands will descend on Phillipi this weekend to celebrate all things Lurch.
