The Sudden Realization

It was Mike Tyson who famously said, "everybody has a plan until you get punched in the face." And, I get that the President had a plan to deal with undocumented residents of this country...he just hadn't thought it through very well.

Which always amazed me...how a man who makes a sizable part of his income from travel and hospitality wouldn't understand that deporting (or terrorizing to the point they won't show up for work) his workforce would cripple the industry that contributes to his wealth. But, so it was...until this past weekend when the President ordered ICE to stop targeting hospitality and farming interests.

Kinda reminds me of when Bush I was reportedly mesmerized by grocery store bar code scanning that we mere peasants had become accustomed to for years.
